Flicker and disappearing mouse cursor.

Hello all ~ I'm having an issue with my mouse playing Planet Zoo. The mouse pointer disappears while I am creating or just moving around. It disappears and then flickers. Can someone please help me and direct what I can do? Thank you very much.

For anyone searching for a solution.
Exit all fullscreen apps and overlays e.g. RTSS, f.ux, Steam overlay - seems to be a common solution
Unplug mouse from PC and plug into another port - This fixed it for me
