How to make HUD smaller?

Hello may I get some help?
A friend gifted me this game and I really want to enjoy it, but I am getting very aggravated.

The HUD is massive, it takes up half the screen and I having trouble putting down fencing because of how large it is. I can't see where I need to put the fencing down because the HUD is always in the way.

I tried to adjust the Scaling, but it makes the text so small that I can no longer read it.

Does anyone have a fix?

What's your resolution?

Did you try to drag it down by clicking at the top and pulling downwards? That usually works for me.

You know i tried that and nothing happened. But I tried it again and i was able to drag it down about half way.
It's still taking up nearly a 3rd of my screen but at least I can see enough to put down the fencing.

That's really weird, maybe try going into windowed mode and back?
I think there was someone a while back with a similar problem, maybe I can find his post.

Yeah, it's still pretty big and covers way too much of the screen but at least you can somewhat work with it.

The minimum height for the building menus is 2 rows. If you can drag it down that far that's what you gotta work with. :/ It's only so much empty space because there's stuff to research ^^
