That's hilarious. But Hlaine is right--there is no way a stranger is going to be able to tell you if a game is too easy for you.
That being said, if you view this game as strictly a tycoon game where the only challenge/reward for play is earning money, then you will probably continue to be disappointed. This is less a tycoon game than a zoo-builder game, so if you didn't enjoy it previously, nothing has changed that will engage you now.
It seems micromanaging the animals is what takes most of my time. In my first zoo ever, I have 1.8 mil in the bank can't possibly spend it.
But most of my time goes to micromanaging the animals because they breed and then they fight and then they don't like the ammount of animals, then i have to sell some, repeat cycle, breed, sell, breed, sell. Costs a lot of time.
Tried giving contraceptives once to the warthog but then I realized I was down to 3 warthogs in total because most died.
