Can't get the Place Entrance/Exit Buttons on Gondola to work?? ((SOLVED))

So, I've played Planet Coaster for years so I thought I knew what to do here, but for some reason, whenever I try to play an entrance or exit on my gondola queue, nothing happens. I click the buttons for both options, and they don't do anything.

I've got the track set up to be a shuttle, with three stations down the line. The track is working, it tests fine, but when I try to set up the queue, it just does nothing.

On the tutorials I've watched online they click the "Place Entrance" button just like in Planet Coaster and one shows up, but when I click that the button doesn't do anything.

Please help, I feel so stupid here but I literally can't see what I could be doing wrong.

edit: Figured it out, I was clicking on the wrong station. I'm a genius <3

Uh, is the ride closed? Then all you should have to do is click place entrance and hover over the station and the gate should appear in blue like this:

Yeah, it's closed, but when I click those buttons nothing happens. It's like they're totally nonfunctional.

Solved it! I'm not used to multiple stations; was just clicking on the wrong one, lol
