snap path alongside barrier does not work

It is on. And the path snaps to the place but I can’t place it. It’s red. Not blue. I can try to take a screenshot. Sometimes if I restart the game it works. But it stops working after a wile and I have to restart the game a few times and then I works in the same place that I did not work before.

I have this happen from time to time. I find I have more trouble if the barrier is not curved and if the curves are too tight/small.

If the ground is too uneven around the barrier, that can effect it. Make sure you level to foundation around the outside of the barrier.

One trick I found is that if I'm working a path around a barrier and it suddenly goes red (pink?), that if I hold down CTRL and move the mouse a bit away from the last spot, I can find a new spot and work my way backwards. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. Give that a shot, maybe?

I think pathing near barriers might be bugged, try editing the barrier and click on a fence post and drag it back a short distance from the area you want to place the path, do this with subsequent fence posts until you have a clear area in which to lay paths, once the path is down return the fence to its original position
