How do I make a null barrier under terrain?
I'm trying to make a barrier for crocodiles and I'm wanting to use nullbarriers for the water (because it's all just surrounded by a terrain rock wall) but every time I try it keeps trying to put it on the surface, not the base ground I have it at. what do I need to do?

Here's a screenshot of what I mean: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2071912450

Similar to the height dragger button at the top of a barrier post, there is a base dragger button at the bottom of the barrier post. This will allow you to lower the base of the post and thus when both posts of the fence are lowered so will the fence. Play with it a while to get the hang of it but it will let you do what you want.

On your height mode you want to click the second or third one. Also, and I may be looking at your screen shot wrong, you want to have the man made barrier between your animal and the null barrier; you get break out warnings if the animal crosses the null barrier.

oh thats the issue then. I was wanting the natural wall to be the barrier for the pool

That is not a problem as long as your natural wall will stop the crocs from getting to your null barrier. :)

exactly why I don't understand why I can't make the null-barrier go into the rock. lol.

It looks like you are trying to cross water with null barrier. Dig then barrier then add water. But I think you are just trying to use terrain as barrier and have null barrier for habitat, yes? Just move null barrier onto dry land back from your natural barrier add croc and check for any escape areas.
Sorry if that is not what you are trying to do.
