Genetic Coding to ID Albinism/Leucism/Melanism
Has anyone looked at the genetic markers of their albinos or melanistic animals (the codes of letters that are provided in the new geneology menu) at all? Is there a noticeable correlation? Because I can only assume that is a key indicator, as genetic letter codes are IRL. I don't know any other reason Frontier would have placed letter codes like that in the game if it didn't point to these key characteristics (or maybe I'm the only genetics nerd who has played this game, but I'm a relative newb and I don't have as many hours as others do). I would really love to know if someone who has been breeding them for a while had paid attention to this to see if it helps. Thanks!

PS those codes don't actually mirror RL genetic coding, btw. I honestly believe they put it in there for us to figure out.

Funny you should ask this as I just read this thread yesterday. Although it doesn't quite nail it down it's a pretty interesting read none the less. https://www.reddit.com/r/PlanetZoo/comments/e30gx7/data_how_genes_and_breeding_works_in_planet_zoo/

Edit: I don't have any of those animals but it would be great if someone who does would post the genetic codes here.
