Rotate Grid Alignment?
I have a terraced terrain so it's flat on one level, and then flat maybe 10 feet higher. I am leading stairs to the higher level and starting a new path there. When I align to grid, it's on a weird diagonal angle. Is there a way to rotate for a small area, or is always locked to the zoo boundary? I'm doing career so starting against the zoo boundary angle is impossible.

The path grid is locked to the orientation of the path piece you take it from, either take it from the stairs or if you want it to go at a particular angle start a new path and lay two pieces going in the right direction to get the angle of the grid you need, align to grid from those, you can delete the original path pieces once you have the grid going the way you want but you will have to run a normal path piece from the grid to the top of your stairs as a grid won't join onto them

Hey, I placed one piece of path down. Just a circle. So I'm not sure how it chooses the angle. I tried rotating the camera, making a new singular unit of circle path, and saw the grid was still seemingly random direction.

make sure you don't have angle snap on then lay a second path piece as close to the direction you want the grid to align, placing only one path piece will give you a random angle

Thanks!

You can place a building on the plateau first at the grid angle you want to use and start a path grid off of the entrance to the building and then connect the elevated and lower path afterward.
