Protesters not leaving
So because of the small glitch of my keepers not feeding my Giant Anteaters, I had the protesters come. They are only protesting about my female Anteater. I fixed the glitch and their welfare is at 100%. And yet, the protesters are still there. I moved my three anteaters to a different habitat and and still the protesters won't move. How do I get rid of them???

Stupid Protesters not leaving in Myers Zoo!
So this game has been out for like a year and yet this major issue apparently has not been resolved. Unfortunately no protestors is a scenario goal here so they have to LEAVE.
So they were protesting the elephant. It was unhappy cause it was alone. I simply could NOT afford 2 more elephants at the moment so i decided to release the elephant for now and figured they would leave then. NO
Idiots just keep protesting the absent elephant released to the wild.

Some years later i have enough conservation credits for 3 elephants so i get em in.... 97 % wellfare. That should be enough to leave no? NOOOO. I am not sure how long 'an appropriate amount of time is' as the game describes but it shouldnt be 2 in game years surely? NOT LEAVING.

So i decided to CLOSE the ZOO maybe that will make em leave long enough to get my bronze achievement (mind you i basically have all the others for silver and gold already except for the tiger / 14 species by now ) right? NO. Everyone leaves but them! Seriously? The Zoo is closed but this imbeciles keep protesting 97% wellfare elephants... They are just protesting the exhibit not a specific animal.

So the GOOD news i DID solve it in the end. Last thing i could think of (before resorting to asking for a cheat here) I simply released a bison and it chased the imbeciles out!

Now i figure they may return now when i reopen the zoo but i got the bronze goal and thats all that matters.

Its still a ludicrous bug. I am not a fan of the mechanic to begin with but protesters should LEAVE when there are no animals in an exhibit. Apparently if you release the animal to nature they get BUGGED! Major bug that is.

Some protesters never know when to leave...maybe they just like protesting.

Protester Problem Myers Island Zoo
I have been trying to complete career mode and am having a problem with removing all the protesters from my zoo. All of the protesters will leave except from 8 that are protesting the African Elephant. I have tried sell the animal, sending it to the wild, deleting paths, deleting the exhibit and nothing will work. The protesters will get into a super glitch and just get stuck walking around the zoo (still highlighted) forever. Can someone please help?

I had the same issue. All my elephant stats were in the green yet protesters wouldn't leave. I finally got frustrated enough to quit career and go into franchise instead. It would be nice to complete if anyone has any suggestions.
I am having the same problem. And it was not present the first time I worked through this career a couple of months ago. Seems to be a new issue. Were you able to get three elephants in the exhibit to improve their social standing? It is my last thought for a possible trigger to get rid of the protests as nothing has worked for me.

Yes, I had 3. All my stats were in the green but it made no difference. It seems like any stat below 100% is not ok with those pesky kids.

There were a few posts with possible solutions not too long ago.
Might help to check the next pages or search the forum.

I have already searched these forum, and did a google search, but only found complaints and no fixes. If you happen to know where the information is, then it would be more helpful to post the link then to say go find it yourself. This post exists because the answer could not be found.

Did you try putting the animal in the trade center and back into the habitat? I had that problem in sandbox once and that's how I got finally rid of them.

Sorry for trying to help by giving you a hint, I didn't have time to find the link myself. No need to be a baby about it.

Thank you so much for your "help." You are released from any self imposed obligation with regards to the subject matter at hand.

Try pausing the game, then delete the gate of the habitat and rebuild it.

Because I think I am a decent person it is only fair to issue a thank you for the suggestion. It was something I could actually try and therefore helpful.
This did fix the issue.

I haven't tried but you may be able to drag and drop them on a guest spawner.
