Gates, buildings won't connect with path.

Hi. I'm having an issue in the game that make the game so bad that I can't play it. When I for example build a square path and put a square walls in it I can't place a gate that connects to the path. This happens always even if I just build an exclosure next to a path. Now even buildings like toilets won't connect to the paths. It makes it impossible to build a zoo since every second it will say that the path/building/gate is obstructed. I have already flatted out the whole terrain so that's not the problem. Please help me because I can't play the game because of it.

Trying to connect to a gridded path might cause problems (if that is what you mean by a 'square path') Do you have the same problem trying to connect to a path that isn't square?

Yea this is very finnicky, I'm often annoyed by this too. What I often have to do is demolish the base path and re-lay it (sometimes with holding the Ctrl button to not get it to auto-connect) and then connect the small paths to the shops etc. from there.

The problem is always there. No mather how the path is layed or how the enclosure is formed.

The same thing happens when I place a enclosure, place a gat and try to connect the gate with the path for visitors. It just won't connect the two.

OK so screenshot 2 shows TERRAIN MODIFICATION FAILED this means the ground underneath may have hidden holes, try using the FLATTEN TO FOUNDATION terrain tool all over that area, turn it up to 100% and keep it over the ground until the little white pop up in the middle of the screen showing negative cash flow disappears, move it slowly over the whole area until you stop getting this pop up then try again with a path. Also make sure you don't have the 'flatten terrain' option turned on in your path menu (second tab) and try turning off angle snap too

I already did that, but it doesn't change anything. I really just think there is a problem with my game to be honest cause it started after an update.

Uh, check the settings in the well settings tab of paths and maybe add a screenshot of that. Make you have tunneling and any unwanted settings turned off.
