Cold water ?
Hi everyone,

Maybe someone can help me for a really annoying problem. Everything is okay for my polar bears, except their water. Indeed, it's always too hot for them. However, I am unable to change this parameter, since we can't set a fan into the water. I've tried to put one on the floor of the water point, without effect. Does anyone have a solution to offer?

Thank you!

If you put the fans close to the water, doesn't it cover it as well?
And maybe try making the water deeper? I've never had this problem myself, but I don't have the expansion, so no polar bears ;/

I have a similar issue, just the other way round: In the Panda garden tutorial, temperatures dropped to -2° with snow. There are heaters in the enclosure of, for instance, the Gharials and crocodiles, but the animals prefer to swim in then water around them and complain they freeze. Putting a heater close to the water edge doesn't seem to affect the water temperature. Now I have a lot of very unhappy water reptiles.

So ... am I missing something (do I have to research a water heater perhaps?) or is this just a game design flaw?

I may be wrong but I think the aquatic pack came with a water heater/cooler. Thinking about it that would screw the people who have the arctic pack but not the aquatic pack! Unless it came with the latest free update instead? Have you updated so you have the animal talks yet?

I am on the latest 1.4.3 and have the aquatic pack addon. Maybe I need to research more to have them available.

Chiming in because I'm having the same issue with crocodiles now.

I think maybe Vicky has the answer above. In staff facilities, power and water. One of those water units has a temperature setting.

Yup, found it. Thanks. It's a building. Makes sense, now that I think about it.
