Do animals grow in the tradehouse?
Hi all,

1. I just wonder, do i need to keep my animal baby's in there facility with the parents? Or can they also grow in the Tradehouse?

2. Is it a bad thing when these animals make new baby's with there own family members? Haha, sounds weird but the older ones die and so i want to keep the young once so they can make new animals again..

Kind regards.
Nico

You don't need to keep them with their parents however they do not age in the Trade Centre you can put them in a different habitat if you want. Its not good to inbreed as the stats will go down on your animals.

Your more then Welcome.
Is there a way to increase the size of the Trade Centre?

I usually put offspring in the trade-centre immediately after they mature so I can figure out what to do with them, but only having 30 slots to work with is a little restrictive, especially given how many baby peacocks I ended up with...
Really?

Peacock is censored?

It's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ animal, Gaben!

What I have been doing is keeping all my good quality genetics girls in my tradehouse, and then every so often replace my breeding male with fresh stock from the animal trade board. This way you still keep the good genetics you were working on, but avoid inbreeding. The reason I change out the male is because it seems for most species you can have several females together in an enclosure, but only 1 male, so it is easier to just keep switching out the male.

A peacock is a male, while a peahen is a female ;)

For building CC initially with just release to wild, you could forgo on perfect stats until you can afford to be more selective with your breeding. I have breeding groups and family groups in separate pens and either release or trade the excess based on how good their stats are.

inbreeding heavily effect your offspring fertility and immunity, and not necessarly, you could still get nice stats, but it also could give you babies with high stats on size and longevity from mediocre parents ,something really hard to achieve through ethical breeding.

Yup. Save your best girls or boys in trade center and refresh the bloodlines from the market.

I noticed with timber wolves, I had one male and two females and I would get warning messages animals will fight for alpha status. I didn't see that it seemed to affect their welfare or health, but I try to fix such messages.
