Career Mode - Giant Panda Plants 90%

So.. I've literally tried EVERY plant. Anyone else have a issue with this? Coverage goes up - but never plant satisfaction.

Plant coverage and plant satisfaction are two different things

Plant satisfaction only goes up when the plants are from the correct climate and biome, while plant coverage is for any plant (increases the most with trees)

For pandas you want plants that are only from Asia, and the temperate biome. You can use the filters to sort the plants to make this easier

Pandas also like a lot of plants, so put down a few trees, maybe some bamboo, with some flowers :)

It's going to be one of two things causing it:

1. If you have some plants that are from the wrong biome/continent they can actually cause a penalty to the "plants" percentage and because it can never be above 100% before penalties, those penalties will make 100% impossible.

Scroll down through the list of what plants are in the habitat on the animal's tab that shows their plant satisfaction and look for ones that have the error symbol AND are highlighted with a red background. Those are the specific plants giving a negative. Mouse over them in the list and the game will even highlight the plants for you so you can locate them for removal more quickly.

2. Going too high for "coverage" is as bad as being too low, so if you go over the maximum satisfactory coverage for the animal, the plant percentage will start to go down, not up, as you add more plants. If this is your issue, you just need to remove any plants that add to coverage until coverage is back down where it needs to be.
