Have you made sure that the fence is over 3m tall ? It explains in the zoopedia about the fence requirements. Also bear in mind that if something is near enough to the wall, count the 3m from the item that they could jump from not the floor.

There's also an overlay to check for possible points of escape.

As above, use the habitat heat map to show escape points, Snow Leopards are excellent climbers, can jump high and far. Took me 7 attempts to stop mine escaping from my 'natural barrier' habitat.
You need a Grade 2 NON-Climbable Fence to use around where your electric fence is not at.
Make sure that your Electric Fence has power or otherwise it's useless.

I have my Electric Fence for my Lion at at 1M - 2M High, I have yet to have one Escape.
I'm believing this may possibly be a glitch, but the Electric should stop any animal from attempting to escape over it.

I'm assuming you have a climbable fence and/or your electric fence is not powered.

Yeah, not fully powered electric fence would do it

My snow leopard kept escaping too, until I watched it literally climb up the wall, then I realised that the "gambion" wall was climbable. Changed it to concrete, and the problem was solved.

Hehe... I just think of the poor kitties smelling Chief Beef or Hot dog squad from across the path to their habitat. They wait, the park starts to empty, the sun begins to set, the vendor turns to leave aaannnnnddd...

WHAMO!

Only the buns are left out?! It's not FAIR!

All comments are completely valid and you should look into that...but I've also watched my cats literally phase through a solid wall and wander off.

Another thing is add anti climb to the top of any climbable fence, it is an option in the dialogue with the options for glass within walls

None of the walls in game are solid really, I think they are all just perimeters (like null barriers) with different skins and values. You should never take what you see in game as what is actually happening if that makes sense. If an animal phases through a wall it is either escaping, just the animation doesnt quite match, or there is an issue with barrier detection for some reason and I would suggest rebuilding the barrier. I had an escape route from one of my habitats, which was only happening with babies. When I watched them it looked like they were just teleporting from the habitat (which was sunk into a deep valley) up to the walkway at the top. What was actually happening was they were running up a jeep ride track that I had run down into the habitat. When I made the track higher I fixed the issue.
