Also, prior to the visit, remove some of the animals enrichment items, and make that happiness level close or above 90, then when they come visiting place them back in, bringing their happiness back up again. It's fiddly but it will hopefully stop them all of a sudden being unhappy of the boring toy.
And as soles said, cleaning and feeding immediately before the visit with enough staff to keep it up while they are there can help.
I've passed this every time i have played this but most if not all of the career levels required at least 3 restarts while I learnt things.
I spent so much money so my animals were all happy, constantly. My least happy animal was at 97% and everyone was around 97-100% yet the average only shows 89-90%. I really would call that one a game issue.
I was just about to say the same: if all else fails and it's the last objective that has to be completed, get rid of all the animals except the tortoise which is very easy to keep at 100% welfare. I actually did that once because I suddenly had the same problem while replaying it again even though that never happened before, no idea if it was a bug or something else but the tortoise finally did the trick.
OMG. Thank you sooo much. I've tried it all and was stuck with 89%, because I had some sassy peacocks in my trading center. I got rid of those i could sell and the other's I put into a nice habitat and finally managed to!
