Cant decide what game mode to play

Hi guys just wondering if anyone else is facing this problem. I can decide what mode to build my zoo in Sandbox or franchise.

I like the animal trading and the online market in the franchise mode and the fact that you have to play the game in a way that the zoo is sustainable.

Where sandbox mode I love that I can now overide some of the animal settings like no death no ageing being able to mix the animals or have massive herds. The thing I most dislike about the sandbox mode is that you dont need to make sensible decisions about spending money. And then the fact that there is no animal tradeing however I think I can get over this ok as it's not really fundamental to the game play.

So I want to start building my zoo what mode do you guys think is best,
I wish there was a I between mode to play

Challenge mode is just like Franchise but the animal market is run by the A.I. rather than actual players.

Challenge mode is good for learning the basics of the game and franchise is fun if you want something more realistic and challenging. If you want to have every animal possible then sandbox is probably best.

Franchise is a little buggy atm, so I would reccomend challenge or Sandbox. Tbh a mod in sandbox where you dont have unlimited money and cc would be cool so you could observe how sustainable you zoo is.

Yeah I'm leaning towards Sandbox at the moment TBH as I'm thinking it will be a total nightmare trying to manage 100's of animals in franchise mode along with everything else.

Franchise mode is easy mode, everything else is pointless.

Challenge yourself, you wont know till you try, Sandbox sound terribly boring, what will you do when your done.
Carrier mode is great for learning

Yeah thats the problem im having the franchise mode is the main game i guess i like having to work within the constricts of sustainability but I will be restricted on how many animals i can have in each habitat and Thats why i like the idea of sandbox as i will be able to have many more animals in the one habitat but then i lose being able to use the trading market.
It really is a shame that we have all the functions we want in the game but cant use them all in one game type.

I'd recommend at least playing the first bit of the career if you are new to the game, or at least mess around in sandbox for a bit to learn some of the mechanics.

If you're past that point it's really just how much you trust the franchise servers. I find it more fun to start with nothing and earn what you're doing.

I'd recommend completing the Career Mode first. It's challenging but not too much and takes you through all of the content of the game while giving you a neat storyline. I mean if you don't do it, you're missing out on some cool developer built architecture that could help inspire your sandbox ventures.

Personally ive found franchise money and cc sustainability super easy. My first zoo had money issues, then i restarted and never had any money problems.

Ive been wantimg to move to sandbox because of this. It just seens better overall when the only plus of franchise already is trivial to me. The only thing that has stopped me is online market. I like being in the market with other people

Yeah I agree once you get a system money and cc and no problem in franchise. And like yourself the online market is what stops me just going to sandbox.

So I guess it really comes down to do I want to have the use of the online market or to be able to have access to the options available in sandbox.
