Is there a way to store more than 30 animals?

Hi all you zookeepers!

I'm planning on rebuilding my first franchise zoo now I that I got 200k as the first build was more about efficiency than beauty. Do this I need to store my animals somewhere, put the 30 spots in the trade center are far from enough. I built a second trade center, which had no effect on the storage capacity. I know that one can build a second zoo and put the animals there, but is there another way to store more animals? A mod maybe?

No, sadly you can only have 30 storage slots. You can create new zoos and throw your storage animals in pens in there, but it costs 100 leaves for each new zoo. It doesn't matter how many storage areas you have and across how many zoos, it is always 30. The animals in storage cross between zoos as well, so if you start a new one you don't get a new 30 slots.

I'd suggest a "mule" zoo, where you store high-value animals until later on.

You can store more then 30 animals, but can't trade in others when over 30. But i don't know if this is a bug or not.

I honestly think the 30 slots are not enough. They should be available for every single franchise zoo. Maybe not 30, Id be alright with 20, but I think it makes a lot more sense to have a seperate storage for every zoo. No? Maybe that's just me but I struggle a lot with it, especially while participating in a community challenge and having to keep most of the offspring for future breeding...

If it was separate for each zoo then we wouldn't have cross-zoo trading

I think they should keep it where you can easily transfer animals between your zoos to shift them around. I like that aspect of the storage area, but I agree 30 slots in nowhere near enough. You should be 30 per zoo you have currently open, and a way to purchase more slots that isn't a mass amount of conservation points. Or maybe keep slots locked to your current zoo, but have a way to transfer them between zoos as easily.

True, true. Maybe researching more storage (mechanics could do that) would be an option?
