Report a translation problem
1 When you put the heat map view on, and then press habitat mode, do you see any red spots?
Those would point out the exact point of breach if it is not just the game being buggy.

2 You dug out a hole in a hill and then put bedding in it.
This often leaves tiny open or tin spots in the cave wall.
A approach with no fault for me is placing the bedding first and then the round shape over it.
You can see if things are covered well before hand and the bedding makes its own cave.
Just need to make an entrance and then soften and shape a bit around to make it not too
unnatural :)
