You’ve read my mind :)
Make sure that the facilities are connected to the main path way. Even though you won't have the guests go up there ( use the staff path ), it has to be connected to the main zoo path in some manner. It's easy to assume you can have an enclosed area for the staff to access what they need but things like power and water facilities can't be disconnected from the main path. Staff areas have to have at least one path leading from the main path.
'No Access to Zoo Entrance'
The same message, in relation to a different object. Implies the Zoo Entrance, isn't connected to the main path. The main path is what goes from the guest spawners through the zoo entrance and to the rest of your zoo. Even if you split the path off later on there has to be that pathway from spawner, to entrance, to the first part of the zoo itself..
Maybe that's a thing in Sandbox mode?
Did you accidentally delete your visitor spawners...you can do that in sandbox zoos.
