No egg laying or mammals nursing?
does anyone know why this wasn’t put into the game? I found it vary disappointing when the lizards/crocs/ostrich’s didn’t lay eggs or build some kind of nest but instead ‘gave birth’ like a mammal. Took away a whole aspect of the game.

Also the baby mammals don’t nurse which is disappointing as well since they did in Zoo tycoon 2, added a level of immersion. Surprised there isn’t juvenile then adolescent life stage where they would nurse for the juvenile stage then go onto eat from the feeders for the adolescent stage. Would also prolong their ‘baby’ stages and add more realism instead of just jumping from baby to adult.

Well you have to keep in mInd that the game isnt out for so long now. They will probably add it, but its kinda weird to be so disappointed by lizards not laying eggs for now.

It's Implied That They are incubating them, and when they ''Give birth'' The eggs are hatching
The Breeding animation also implies that they've laid the egg and the male has fertilized it.

What is also a bit odd is that I can sell or free the mother of offspring that would generally need the care of their mother, without any ill effect on the offspring?!?

Hopefully it is added and I was disappointed because given how good the graphics are for this game I was excited to see the lil chicks and lizards hatch since you can see that in Zoo tycoon 2 but it disappointed me when the mothers seemed to just give birth to the young like a mammal. I found it hella goofy and silly.

Ah that makes sense but still I find that goofy since they’ve given such high expectations with the graphics and animations, I would of expected more as in realism to the reptiles and birds nesting/laying eggs and the mammals nursing and having more interactions with young. I get it might be a lot to do, I have no knowledge on how to make a game but it would add so much more depth into the game. Fingers crossed for the future though! They seem very eager and active on updating the game etc. :)

I agree that this is odd too. Hopefully they add more to the parental/offspring relationship since they added the family tree etc. I know they recently added more animations to the lemurs so fingers crossed all this mentioned above is going to be added in the future!
