The Breeding animation also implies that they've laid the egg and the male has fertilized it.
Hopefully it is added and I was disappointed because given how good the graphics are for this game I was excited to see the lil chicks and lizards hatch since you can see that in Zoo tycoon 2 but it disappointed me when the mothers seemed to just give birth to the young like a mammal. I found it hella goofy and silly.
Ah that makes sense but still I find that goofy since they’ve given such high expectations with the graphics and animations, I would of expected more as in realism to the reptiles and birds nesting/laying eggs and the mammals nursing and having more interactions with young. I get it might be a lot to do, I have no knowledge on how to make a game but it would add so much more depth into the game. Fingers crossed for the future though! They seem very eager and active on updating the game etc. :)
I agree that this is odd too. Hopefully they add more to the parental/offspring relationship since they added the family tree etc. I know they recently added more animations to the lemurs so fingers crossed all this mentioned above is going to be added in the future!
