Okay, to be honest i think that you have to just use the advanced movement tool to align these pieces. I am trying to make them into a group so each piece aligns and that is where I am stumped I think :)

I watched speed run of an entrance build, some people are really good. Once I get better at building I will be pretty good at it I think ha.

Yeah it’s not complicated, very time consuming though. The key to it all seems to be their incredible creativity.
Since I lack creativity I’ve taken to watching those videos and coping what they do and then making it into my own.
