However, since the last patch there is a possibility that education screens and audio boxes may be having issues connecting with the animal in the habitat below due to height issues. If that is the problem you are having then try placing them further down, nearer to the ground/surface.
Other than that I haven't seen anyone recently mention any issues with this scenario.
What are the things you are seeing and wondering if they are bugs ?
And this despite the fact that I completed the entire "construction", closed the fence all the buildings for the staff, put kiosks with water on every free spot and placed around the zoo about 40 displays, 15 curbstones with training and an uncounted amount of audio information. I do not know what to do! :(
It sounds like you did way more than what I did to complete the game .. By the time I had finished silver most of gold was completed.
Tip:
Make sure animals have the right habitats. The game tells you the zoo is incomplete. Happy animals provide happy guests. I took the zebras out from the elephant habitat and put them in with the antelopes and giraffes. They will all get a boost for each other species with them.
Tip:
Do not raise the animal food quality ... or do staff training. Reserve that till right near the end if the tasks ask you to. Both animal food and staff wages will eat up all your money very quickly.
Tip:
There is a building near the main vehicle station that has space for 3 more exhibit species .. put a pair in each one and research them ( don't forget to also research your other animals ). Let them breed and sell off all but the youngest pair. This will bring in some ready cash while you wait for the cash flow to come up. Once you add the cheetah and lion habitats the interest in the zoo will boost big time.
You shouldn't need to build any more shops but if more than 30% complain of being hot or thirsty .. build a drink shop near to where they currently are.
If you need advertising to bring in the guests ( I did that the first time round in November ) then leave it to last so that it has less stress on your money.
Also, have you raised the zoo entrance fee above what they find as "okay" ? It might be that you are putting people off from coming in to the zoo.
My last play through on the 17th December also needed less education windows to pass all the education requirements .. just a few screens. I didn't even use the audio boxes. But as I said, there may have been issues introduced since then due to the last two patches.
The idea of this scenario was to use the vets task of sending the sick animals to quarantine and hospital .. or better still have the water treatment facility better at its job . It was definitely more challenging before the changes .. The work zones were probably not set up correctly if at all which would help the situation.
My first run through was a just barely complete as well rofl. So good to see that you managed to get it finished.
When it says that the habitats are merged is normally because one piece of wall wasn't connected properly. If you had modified them slightly, or moved it in someway it may have caused one of the wall segments to break apart. This has happened to other people and myself with sometimes something as small as a centimetre gap making the message appear. I try to avoid connected habitats for this precise reason. With the safari ride thing it might have been that the fence connecting one of the gates to the habitats may have been slightly out with the wall not actually connected to the gate used for vehicles.
