Inbreeding is terrible. I wouldn’t advise it. Animals will come along that cannot mate. Die young etc.
Best way to control it initially is to use the contraceptives.
Also, research gives a bonus on fertility (30%?), so even when their initial fertility is at 0% it's still possible for them to get kids.
What you can do, is to allow or even foster the inbreeding, but always compare your possible mating pairs in the "compare mate" interface. This will show you the possible stat range of their offspring. If it gets difficult to find mates that provide good chances for good values in fertility and immunity, then it's a good idea to inject some fresh genes into your breeding.
