How can I make a custom animal shelter?

I've seen that when you create the habitat you can put up a solid animal shelter. There are four or five different models, mostly made of logs... I'm very surprised but I can't see an option to make my own shelter design, how can I do it?

You can use almost anything, a hole in the ground can be a shelter too. You could stack some stones or use logs from the construction menu, or items from the climbing stuff. Just make sure it's big enough for your animal and you can check how much shelter it gives with the heat map.
Walkways over a habitat act as shelters too btw ^^

Okey thanks for your answer... But where can I find the pieces from that pre-made shelters? Are they in construction menu? Because in shelter menu are only that blueprints...

Put some bedding on the ground and use anything from the construction menu to cover it, ie roof panels, walls, logs, etc. The roof must cover all the bedding or you'll get a message saying there's no hard shelter.

You can also use barriers for walls if you uncheck the habitat barrier box under the gear icon.
