Construction pieces - Line of Sight, Insulation?

Will construction walls block line of sight for guests viewing animals, thus preventing animal stress situations? Do they dampen sound or hide the animals like barriers do? I'd like to have a path over my tapirs, but they freak out when people are on the bridge and looking at them. Putting barriers with one way glass helps, but also means terminating the habitat, and having a bridge alongside it, rather than over it.

Also, will putting roofs over a habitat with temperate modifiers help insulate things, or are they just cosmetic? I'd like to have a guest viewing area inside my polar bear exhibit, accessible underground, but guests complain about the temperature.

Yes, everything can block line of sight to animals, though you might want to try out do not disturb signs first.
No, there is no insulation, but you can decrease the radius of a heater so it only heats the guest area.

Depends on the map type. But rain is blocked of course by buildings and guests are "So glad to get out of the weather". Desert maps, ummm.. We DO NOT HAVE UNBLOCK FOR SALE!! (the sads) Buildings don't help there except look pretty because it doesn't rain, and the heat is still present, etc.
