Deluxe edition vs Arctic bundle?

Im planning on buying the game and with the current sale the prices between the arctic bundle and the deluxe edition are around the same. I noticed the deluxe pack also has extra animals. Are they worth it? Which package would you recommend?

I actually hate it there is no deluxe+arctic discount pack :-).

Its about the animals you value most. So for me the Deluxe Edition has the Komodo Dragon, Pygmy Hippo and some deer thing. Whereas the Arctic DLC has yet another deer, wolf and bear with the Dall Sheep. Personally the Deluxe for me has more value even with 1 less animal because I find totally different animals to hold value and not just a different type of bear. Also the Pygmy Hippo might very well be my favourite animal in the game which I found surprising.

Im thinking of buying it as well and my plan is to buy the deluxe edition since its 20% off. Then I will grab a winter discount coupon for the tokens I get and buy the arctic pack

Planet Zoo: Arctic Bundle is what I bought, saved me more money at the time. Though, it really depends on what animals you want.

If you want them all most people have a 5 dollar discount from the steam winter tokens which is nice. I didn't have that at the time so I went with the Arctic Bundle. The deluxe animals didn't interest me at the time, but now that I have a 5 dollar coupon, maybe I'll get the deluxe upgrade now.

From a value perspective though, the Arctic Pack is more value with 4 animals, 200+ scenery pieces, 2 scenarios.

If you don't want the deluxe, then you'll save yourself more money especially with the 5 dollar coupon (assuming you have 5000 winter tokens). The discounted stuff probably won't be discounted again until March or the summer. So, if you want it, now is the time to buy in my opinion.

Komodo Dragon , need i say more, plus it is discounted , get the artic pack when they reduce it if you can wait.
