Nule Barrier Help
Hi, my null barriers are not working and connecting my two habitats and making them one.

This is what my layout is:
Just imagine 2 square boxes near eachother, and 1 box has a habitat gate. I made a tunnel above the two boxes so the animals could walk from one box/habitat to another. I dug out a tunnel between the two boxes/habitats so my guests could see my animals sleeping in a cave. In order to make the 2 boxes a single box, i connected the two boxes (habitats) with null barriers. This did nothing and it still shows up as being 1 habitat. I have tried highlighting everything and unchecking habitat perimeter but I instead got this when I tried clicking on the box/habitat that includes a habitat gate: Fix: Marked as Not A Habitat Boundary.

Help? I dont know how to upload screenshots here, so i hope my explanation was good enough.

Also i have already looked up youtube tutorials, they are not clear and its still not working for me.

You just need to take a Steam screenshot and copy & paste the url here

Null barrier works as a fence, you can't use it to split habitats in half without making them into separate habitats. Null barriers are for where you use rocks and terrain as a barrier and don't need a physical fence, but it still acts the same as a fence sans the keeping animals contained because the rocks or whatever are doing that.

Null barriers can also cross paths, guests will act like normal but its a good way to connect an exhibit running over or under a path. From the sounds of things that's what you need to do, cross over the path with the null barrier to connect the two halves.

Paths over or under habitats are fine so long as dangerous animals cant walk on the path.

Then how do people make it so that they make 2 habitats and then the animals can go through a tunnel and cross over from one habitat to another w/o getting the notification ''animal has escaped''

Maybe this video can help you

Also, you can build walls and deselect count as habitat perimeter to use them more as decoration.
