Panda Park 'invalid rotation' - just a momento

during the panda park tutorial placing the just a memento gives me the error tool tip 'obstructed' or an 'invalid rotation' Anyone else have this issue?

Yup, same issue - disabling flatten terrain worked. I still think they should add it into the explanation in tutorial for this step. Just a little note from the lady or a popup, that would say "Hi, if you cannot place an object, disabling flatten terrain might help." Still I think this issue exists because they diabled terrain editing for this part of the tutorial, so normally the game would automatically flatten the terrain except it can't.

I waited for this game for a long time, just got it, but the controls are so freaking counter-intuitive that I'm almost uninstalling it. Just got stuck on the same problem, panda park invalid rotation.

Got it to work by slightly raising the elevation of the store. Now I have a floating shop but I don't care I just want to get through it already

You have to turn off flatten terrain as its already flat hence the terrain modification failed error

Hi I can did this. I need to delete the rocks and plants there and put the shop a little up from floor level. But the shop must be face to zoo entrance.

Okay so get it rotate to face the same way as the bathroom and then hit X and raise it up as well. That managed to do it for me.

Oh my god.. it's already 2022 and this problem has also overtaken me and it hasn't been fixed. I did as you said and I was able to install it.. God, it almost drove me crazy.

That fixed it for me. Really idiotic that it is not mentioned AT ALL.

I too had that problem and watch the color of the pathway, I finally got it to set at about a 4 degree angle and a little above ground with the entrance level side matching the bathrooms. I never could get it on the other path and like you kept getting the same error. I wish you had an option to pick your level of experience so they don't disable things like the terrain and flatten options while going through the tutorials.

I had similiar problem, i solved it by pressin X and lowering building a bit

I got it, you just turn flatten terrain on and off again.

What I did was hold x and pull the green arrow up a little and it worked for me.
