validating files
He wants to update (not sure if there is an update)
but he keeps validating.. when he's "done" validating the files it says updating for just a second and jumps back to validating. over and over again.

I'm trying uninstal- reinstalling now

Or try clearing your download cache. Steam/settings/downloads at the bottom of the page.

My AVG quarantined my planetzoo.exe file, and i had the same "validating" over and over.
restored the file from avg quarantine and was all good to go

That's a good point. AVG and Avast are both notorious for false positives.

even after clearing the download cache it won't work reinstalling..
now i have "content file locked".. It won't install it anymore.. :/
I didn't have any problems before with my antivirus tho.. (avast)

Your antivirus probably has a problem with a certain software. I can only recommend changing it since they're not really good anyway. My pick is bitdefender but the choice is your.

Right click the game and go to properties/browse local files. If planetzoo.exe is not there then your AV has snagged it. If it is there right click and properties/compatibility/run as admin.. You may also want to run Steam itself as admin..

Edit: If .exe is missing you have 3 choices. Restore it from quarantine as noted by @Imposter. Set it as an exception in your AV and validate files. Shut down AV and validate files. You can turn AV back on after validating but it may or may not still need an exception.

Installed again after disableing the AV, and it works again :)
