Animals that are in exhibits not showing up on my zoo animal list

When I am opening the zoo tab and look at my animal list I notice that several of my exhibit animals are not showing up on that list, however, when I look at the exhibit itself, they are still there. Is this a glitch and/or is there a way to fix this?

Check your filters? I'm not in game to double check, but I think on the animal listing there are a set of filters at the top of that window -- one for species and the other for habitat or exhibit. If you set it to habitat only while in game, it'll keep your filter settings until you either change the filter or close out of the game.

If the filters are set for both habitat and exhibit species, try exiting to main menu then going back in. I've had some weird filter glitches fix itself by doing that.

Most of the time items can't be seen because the filter is on, all other items disappear from the list. Like Zanika said.

But I also seem to remember that habitats and exhibits are two different lists? They definitely are when in the Trade Center.

No, I am talking about when you go into the Zoo tab, not the animal trading or exhibit trading tabs, where it shows you all the animals in your zoo, exhibit and habitat animals, all in one list. Some of my exhibit animals show up on the list.... some dont.... so its not a filter problem....

Have they definitely been delivered from the trade center to their exhibit? Or have you adopted animals then checked the tab immediately?

no they are in the exhibit and have been for a long time they ate just not showing up now on my overall animal list in the zoo tab i originally thought they died but i have turned animal death off

I know this post is pretty old, but I have the same problem. It's not filters. Some animals simply don't show up in the 'animals' tab in the 'zoo' menu, despite existing and having been in an exhibit for a very long time.

If anyone else is experiencing this issue. I reported this issue and was told from the support team that its an issue internally, and that a fix "will be deployed along with the next game update (1.10). Unfortunately, the release date is current TBC".

I've got no more existing exhibit animals so I'm going to just be leaving them (maybe delete the exhibits if I need to rearrange my zoo) too bad the animals were all gold tier :/
