How do you accept after building a barrier?

Hi i'm doing the tutorial and it tells me to replace the brick wall with a glass window wall, which i have done but i cannot find anyway of accepting what i have just done, how do i accept the change?

Once you have changed the wall section to a window wall just close the barrier menu or select another part of the barrier

every time i close it it vanishes

Try selecting another section of barrier after changing the one you needed then exit

Yes the manor thing, i'm starting to get frustrated and considering a refund because i have poor performance on my 2080ti also

Weird - I only have a 1080ti and no problems - getting into tutorial now

Try starting a sandbox even though you might not want to yet. Just for testing purposes.... build a very small habitat, make sure you put the keeper gate in as it doesn't become a habitat until that point. Then edit a section of it to become glass as you have been attempting. It will be interesting to see if this is just a problem with the tutorial.

I just tried one last time, I redid it again, I pressed the 'X' with the game not paused, and the same, it disappears every single time.

I was a bit wary of paying £30+ for the game anyway and have been stuck on the same area for half hour, that with the performance issues I think i'll grab it again later on.

OK - so to complete the tutorial you need to click on a section of existing brick wall so it turns blue, then click on the glass wall option in the barrier menu to change the type - this should automatically complete the task, I used a section of barrier I had just added rather than any of the previously built barriers

have done this, nothing happens, i pressed x because i was told thats how you do it on the frontier forums.

cheers for the help but i only have 6 mins remaining before steam cuts off the refunds so i'll grab it again in the future, i think its a bug.

never mind i tried one last time and i realised you can only do one panel at a time, looks like i wont refund it, excuse my frustration.

I was trying to do the whole barrier.
