It's a shame, it wouldn't bother me to pay a bit more if that would be the case. u.u
^ lol, i agree. If you want to donate to good causes, then donate to them. Not everyone would want the game's price jumped up $10 or more for this reason
Now a dlc focused on that, containing endangered animals and the profits go to conservation, I can support that. But increasing the base game price is a no from me
I think that the fact that a game supports a cause can bring it to broader audience, not all the people known about the northern white rhino for example, so it is not just donating directly to the cause but rather attempting for other people to know about it.
Maybe the game is already a bit expensive so raising the price is not the best idea, but I think that some workaround to support them would be nice.
Restates previous comment...
hence my DLC idea. It won't turn away people who don't want to buy a inflated price on the base game, but still support a good cause and spread awareness. If the animals included were lesser known endangered species, it'd help to raise awareness for them
lot of people know about Pandas and tigers and what not, but not as many know about the other endangered species like the Pygmy Elephant, or the Javan Rhino, or heck even the poor little Pangolin
Do you watch Animalogic? Pangolins are so cute u.u
Yes, I think that the DLC idea is really good, and even tho all of the animals in the game are in the vulnerable category of conservation status I guess some other species are in more need, like the poor, poor saigas.
Let's hope that the devs read this then. u.u
I would like to see some missions where you have say 10 years to save endangered animals like the Pangolin, Rhino, Lion, Giraffe, Tiger etc or they are no longer available in your zoo.
Altough I do not missvalue the education that it can provide, there literaly 2 northern white rhinos, I do not think that some quick money is just useless.
