1.) Crocodiles can live both on land and in the water, so you can create a suitable enclosure for it like the others terrestrial animals.
2.) Sharks, especially the Great White Shark, require salt water to live. There is only freshwater in the game.
3.) Adding sharks would require 3 dimensional swimming. That is, being able to swim in all directions, including up and down. Currently it seems like all animals can only swim on the surface of the water.
4.) Sharks need a lot of space. There is a reason why you don't see a Great White Shark in an aquarium. The size and depth of their habitat is impossible to replicate and they die after a few days in captivity.
lol I never went to real zoo. Last time I did, I was like 4 y.o.
I watched too many movies with Great White sharks.
What about dolphins and killer whales?
- Gators can swim under water and can roll.
- Animation shouldn't be a problem and they can be given constraints from the water edges from surface to stay bellow or to jump off and land in water for air.
- How do you know it's only fresh water in the game?

I'm trying to help in making greater game by giving ideas!!! You got to stand with me!
Well the devs are aiming for this to be the most authentic zoo game yet, and given the controversies around keeping large cetaceans and sharks in general, I'd say it's highly unlikely given how both are known to turn suicidal over time in captivity (Sea World bad)
Personally, I'd love to see an aquarium expansion. The zoo in my hometown has an aquarium building that has, among other things, small sharks.
They could possibly add in small aquariums set pieces with jellyfish/other small fish (like the 1x1x1 grid boxes we saw in a recent video) but make them slightly bigger for a walk through styled building type DLC in the future.
Though given the name 'Planet Zoo' i'd doubt we'd ever see any purely aquatic styled stuff, given their usually 'safe business practices' probably just more amphibious mammals etc (like otters maybe).
I can understand this though. While normally I'd hope for as many critters as possible and would like to add Orcas and Great Whites to my virtual park, IRL these particular animals seriously don't belong in captivity. I can take or leave having them as features and respect the whatever route the devs take with it.
But a game is a game.
Thumbs up for those thinking out of the box.
So, if it's not possible in reality, it could be cool to make it happen in a game.
Like any game that makes you colonize another planet!
