What plants do peafowl actually like? And is there a place I can look up a list?

Because playing 'GUESS THE CORRECT PLANT' with the menu is frustrating. Am I missing something in their information under zoopedia that'll ACTUALLY tell me? Or do these pains in the butt just hate everything?

Just match the area and biome(s) to what the book says using the filters and it works fine. Keep an animal window open while building to make sure it isn't an oddball that's from a different biome.

Click on the animal and one of it's info tabs will tell you the region and biomes it likes it's plants to come from. Keep the info open, click on nature and set your filters to give you the correct choice of plants to choose from.

Did that but everything I selected didn't work. I went down the entire list and it just made them angry no matter what I put in regardless of it being from the right region. These were the tutorial ones so I'm not sure if they were bugged or if I should have just ripped out the hedges, either way they were the only animal I had issues with. It was easy to find suitable plants for the other animals.

I appreciate the help however!

Its very easy to figure this out...

Take said animal - Open the Zoopedia
Find out what Continent they are from
and what Biome they like...

Then click on the filter in the search bar for nature and choose the continent and biome, and viola everything in the list will be something the animals likes!

This animal wanted the hedges removed though and it didn't really explain that.

:) I'm aware, what I was missing was that the hedges needed to be ripped out as courtky mentions.. I figured out the rest quickly as shown in my third post.
