Changing the weather

hi there. in many videos i have seen they changed the weather. I dont have the option to change the day/night and weather

Same here, in the Beta there was no Problem with that,
I have sent an Issue report to Frontier on their website...

Does anybody else have this issue?

YES, i am squinting my eyes to see in the dark. We cant turn it to daytime?

maybe it's locked to the mode? I am in sandbox and it works just like it used to in the beta.

was my guess too, i tried evey mode and it was in every mode the same.. i´m reinstalling now.
maybe this will help.. building in the darkness is not nice :D


okay i have ti edit this now. in the Sandbox Mode the button is still there. I don´t get it.. is it supposed to be only in Sandboxmode?.. i´ll have to wait for an answer on the Frontier Issue tracker website...

So what do you see on the very bottom of the game screen, left of where it tells you the date? I have a small icon with the current weather and the current temperature. When I click on that, I get to the weather and time config.

First is in the other 3 Modes, last Screen is from Sandbox... only in this Mode is the Button :(

hm, I found that in sandbox, you can click on either the icon (moon/sun) or the temperature/weather info to get there.
But if that is not working in other modes than sandbox (or, better said, if it *does* work in sandbox) I suppose it is intended. Which is bad, because that means that I will definitively not leave the sandbox because there is no way I am going to deal with that night lighting.

Dear Keeper,

Thanks for your report! The ability to change the time of day and/or current weather is a feature limited to sandbox mode only. This was designed in a way to provide a little less predictability within more objective and challenge oriented modes.

Aww, that's too bad. I used to stay at sunny 1400 for building and once I was finished, release it. I think they should have left it an option, it really didn't harm any experience.
