Why does it say on the steam page 1 day and 3 hours for me then?

I believe this countdown is accurate, yet I'm also confused why it says something else on Steam? It says it gets released on the 6th, which is a day longer than the confirmed worldwide release. I'm worried Steam won't release it for me on time - thus making me wait an extra day for no reason. If that happens, I'd be especially annoyed because this is a game I pre-ordered!

Can someone please clarify why Steam incorrectly says the 6th? Will it still release on time (the 5th) regardless?

my guess is that this is the automated /default) release (countdown) time from steam, but i may be wrong.

what we know is that this is a global release with no pre download and the Official Releasetime is Global 12 pm GMT

They can release it before the timer on Steam runs out. Have seen this with other games.

No steam is just showing it wrong, actually Planet Zoo could release it right now if they wanted :) it's a simple push to Steams game lib server and it's released.

if you have still the Beta installed, its a "Update". If you have not, you can start the Download at 12 pm GMT.
if you are not at home at this time, you can also start the download with the Steamapp from your handy.

i could be wrong, but if i remeber correct it will be around 16 or 17 gb.

My advice (if you CAN`T start the download at 12 pm GMT tomorrow) restart your steam client.

Yeah, mine says the 6th too, but in my part of the world it will be 11pm on the 5th for release. Seeing Steam is the main client for PZ it should all sort itself when Frontier open the zoo gates at 12pm GMT.

Steam has never been good at keeping time; I guess that they are a game client and not a time piece. :)

Well it comes out at 12PM GMT time, so just convert it to your time, then you'll know. For example, here in the Netherlands it's 1 hour later than in London for example, so it's GMT +1, which makes it 1PM in the noon :)

12 PM today oder 7 PM tomorrow? Steam says it's 7 PM tomorrow.

My steam changed in the last 15min. Said it was coming out at 4am on the 6th... now it's 11pm on the 5th
