Beta will most likely be out this summer (That means before september 23) or if they postpone to after, then most likely close to that date. I reckon a week or two after gamescom

One would think that if Frontier wants to fix any bugs and glitches before ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ release they'd release the beta far enough ahead of time so as the developers have time to fix those bugs and glitches. Two weeks just doesn't seem like fair amount of time.

Bo said there would be more information at Gamescom about the beta. That's 2 weeks away. She didn't promise a start date but many are expecting one. I agree with frozen_ghost on this one, they should not have used the word beta, and I'll bet they don't after this game :)
