Absurd Trade Prices
Everyone who is putting animals up for insane trade prices, low-0% fertility and near death.....you should all feel EXTREMELY ashamed of yourselves.

Im feeling it, i always try to put reasonable prices for my animals i trade :) none can afford a 10% fert crock for 5000 cc

People who do that probably don't have the capacity for shame and would only tell you that "this is a game" and they can do whatever they want. As sad as it is the reality is this behavior mimics real life...immoral or unethical business practices are part of life.

What would help is being able to filter or blacklist sellers you don't want to see stuff from. That would stop behavior real quick. For now since I can't afford those absurd prices anyway I just usually filter with low prices first and stop looking when I get to my budget limit.

Just a heads up that you can filter by stats. I tend to always search by a minimum of 35 and higher in the fertility score. Once people start to learn about this hopefully we will see less and less selling.

just dont buy the expensive ones..its early days, prices will fall.

Well, I didn't find so much time until know, additionally, I had some issues with Franchise, so I couldn't do much until now.
Thought yesterday, I could try the community challenge ... turns out: I can't, cos I'm far from having the points to buy one animal, not speaking of a pair of gorillas to start. Well, it's a free market I guess, still a bit of a shame, that I wouldn't make it in time for this second challenge ...

I know this but they are all like 5k+. Its a shame. No one can even buy these. The people listing them for that much have no concept of "market value"
I hate to tell you but quite a few can afford it which is why the prices are like this. I'm around 170k conservation cash right now and 5k isn't much. Especially when you consider certain silver/gold animals sell for around 3k-10k easily. I can put up different animals for anywhere between 1k-10k and they will sell within secs to mins.

Its easy to filter out the burned out inbreed ones and the senior citizen ones. Let them waste their time posting it over and over again. Only newbies or someone who dose not know better would buy those dried up ones.

Then you are part of the problem.
I know what sells so I put prices up high. I also put up animals for quite cheap. I put up 120+ gorillas the other day for around 400-800 cc. All bronze or higher rating with 50% fertility to try and help out other players with this challenge.
Befitzero Nov 14, 2019 @ 10:25am
There are also the frontier generated ones to get started out with for cash and CC, granted their stats are not great but I used a pair to get going. You just have to check the market and scoop them up because they tend to go fast.

If you keep refreshing and filter by under 1000CC you can catch the 2 released by frontier every 15mins or so
Ah, I could at least try it, even if the chance is pretty low. Thx. Thought there are none anymore cos didn't see any for now. :)

I feel like the gorilla challenge is harder than the tiger, because you just had to breed tigers. This one is releasing gorillas so theres a lot less going to be made available. I did make a mistake the last challenge with an elderly tiger, so I learned my lesson this time. I am releasing/selling a lot of fast breeding low conservation point animals to afford my breeding pairs. Its tedious but oh well!

The trick is to breed them all them release to wild at about 39yrs when they dont breed anymore and before they die. You get full use out of them!

I admit i kinda hope the community event fails just so ppl can realize how foolish that was to do
if you want the event to sussed then put them at good prices instead of trying to suck cc out of other players

Yea thats what I am doing, I have 2 habitats going right now, releasing when infertile and when inbreeding gets too high storing in trade center. But it took me a few days to get my zoo going at a steady pace haha.
Getting that starter group (i got 1 male 4 females to begin) took a bit of work.

I can understand the stress of wanting to contribute... I was stressing because sims university comes out today and I didn't have enough released lol!

Same tbh....especially since frontier is alluding to some big surprise for completing it. What if its some new animal or something? people will realise how stupid it is being greedy
