what am i doing wrong? gorilla habitat

For the community challenge i built a habitat for gorillas, but i can´t get enough space for climbing....
i tried to build a lot of climbing possibilities and put some projects from the game, but it´s never enough. what should i do?

yes, several times, i tried using several logs and platforms but i only get 30-40 square meters.

I think Gorillas can only climb on certain things. Since they are fairly big they can't climb on small climbing frames etc. Make sure you're putting the appropriate climbing possibilities for them. It helps selecting them in the filter for habitat stuff and putting down the premade ones that are specifically for them

Click on the circle thing in the bottom left, there should be a heat map to see were they can get to in you enclosure.

if i get only the logs within the game, the amount will raise but i have to put a lot of them, really a lot... and if i put the projects that the mechanics research, i have to put 2 for large animals to make to the half of the desire amount for the gorillas.

yeah i´m doing it, but maybe i´m doing something wrong, i´ll record a video and upload here, if someone could watch and try to help i´ll aprecciate.

i thinks it has about 1200 square meters.... with only 3 gorillas

There is a nice climber for large animals you can research and it has two tiers with big thick logs. I mean really thick. It can handle 6 babies for adult females and one adult male.

Going off of the premade one, you might need big platforms in between your poles before the smaller platforms. And those small ones might be too small.

you need that large climbing blueprint. learn habitat lvl 3. And you get a large climbing blueprtin for gorillas
