How to sell animals on the market.

I'm trying to put my wolf on the trade market but when I click the button nothing happens. All I can do is quick sell it. What am I doing wrong?

How old is it? Maybe it is too elderly for the trade market.

Did you buy it for cash? You can't sell animals for CC if you brought them for cash

I can't remember if I bought for cash or if it was born in my zoo, Is there anyway to find out?

There should also be a little red warning triangle next to their name when you try to sell them that says, animal was brought for cash only quick sell is available

I just looked in the studbook and it says adopted. I must have paid cash for it as I've not used any conservation points yet. So I can't sell it then as I paid cash for it?

Yeah, if you bought it for cash you can only sell it for cash. Which is fair since Frontier didn't want people buying cheap cash animals and selling them for like 5000 CC with no breeding effort.
