Free roaming animals
Does anyone know if say you could let the peafowl roam the zoo freely or is it not setup to allow that? Just thinking you can do walk through habitats with animals like peafowl, but what about just letting the peafowl roam? I know tons of well amusement parks and zoos around me in real life that do just that.

It's not set up for that unfortunately. although it is possible.. with a GIANT enclosure for them and some intense management. Not worth the effort though.

I guess the way to test it is, can you put a habitat in another habitat? If so you could just put a wall around the whole zoo.
I suspect you can't though, the AI is not the brightest as it is already!

To be fair, the game is dealing with a HUGE amount of AI and for performance it needs to run with as low an overhead as possibly.

Oh yeah, that wasn't a complaint. I think the game is superb and as you say the amount going on is massive.

I had a feeling it wouldnt work but just figured id ask before i even tried testing it and wasting time lol

Maybe something they could figure out down the road though

One the bright side of that you can make walk through enclosures for Peafowl and they'll be relatively un-fussed so long as they have some hard shelter. On a rather curious note regarding walk-through enclosures however, you can make one for the Okapi, now I don't know about the rest of you but I don't think a shy, easily irritated by human presence, stout forest Giraffe would be the greatest thing for a walk through enclosure.
