Unhappy guests tend to break things more often than when guests are happy
Also, large crowds increase the odds of vandalism and pickpocketing occurring
Moreover, there's no panel for all the broken stuffs to have a quick repair.
And yers they need a panel were you can quik repair stuff its really annoying looking for it al the time.
Also, set some mechanics to just repair vandalism and they will take care of most of it, just gotta give them time. This is lower priority work then habitat and infrastructure repairs, so if you don't have dedicated mechanics to do it and don't have a lot of extra mechanic capacity they won't get be much help.
I still have to fix education displays myself, but the mechanics set to only repair vandalized items take care of most of it. ( I set them to do ride repair and maintenance as well seeing as that is not something I need much of in any of my zoos).
Also helps to hire more security and put cameras around so they stop the vandals before they can damage too much.
I've had a mechanic repair a screen ... once ..
I've had a mechanic repair a bench ... once ..
When asked I've had mechanics repair atms... I think they are low on their priority list so I usually have the atms on a separate work group that the caretakers, mechanics and security guys use as a patrol zone.
Both instances were new hires placed in front of the offending item.
It's either bugged or partially implemented.
