if it's not dry they wont use it
side note: there's a setting on the heat maps you can click on for the habitats that show spots for shelter
@Messiah of Melons, I suggest that you mind your own business ;)
anyway are all these beds little size? maybe instead of having a bunch of little ones just go for one or 2 extra large ones and see if that works? I know it's not a reason to why that is happening but I can't rally think of why they wouldn't use them, maybe a screenshot will help?
maybe the bedding area is not high enough for the dragons to crawl into?
What size bed are you using btw. I have 2 biggest size beddings in hard shelter and its enough. I only have 2 tho
How on earth was that reply condencending? All he did was answer the question. Surely you don't take the insertion of "perfectly" to make the remark such. English is not everyones first lanquange.
I read the message as basicly:
"Yes they are perfectly dry you moron".
"..." is a pet peve of mine so i almost always read it as condescending. Like a im speechless that i even have to say it, thing. Note: this is mostly due to league of legends where that is how its mostly used. Op has said that wasnt the intent tho
Edit. Changed wording to be less of a ♥♥♥♥
Let's not bring every thread into a battle of wits and ego and instead focus on getting their komodos some shuteye!
Im happy to drop it if everyone else does
Sounds more like your personal issue than anyone else's. Ironically, the only one who has been condescending in this thread is you. So yeah, perhaps you should just drop it, or not have commented so irrelevantly in the first place.
On-topic:
Sometimes my shelters won't register properly until I let them collide with the terrain underneath. Maybe simply moving your shelter slightly might fix your issue. I also had some shelters break after I turned them into blueprints. At that point the only fix was removing it completely and rebuilding it from scratch. Seems to me like this feature just isn't working properly at times.
