Red pandas jumping THROUGH barriers?
So my red pandas keep escaping and running all my guests away.

I looked, no damage fence, its 100% repaired, roof isnt open, no branches able to be jumped over, its all sealed.

I watched one, he walks up to a specific point in the glass fence, and jumps through it, Through the glass.

This is ruining my park, how the hell do i fix this?

I had the same problem with lemurs on a wood fence with windows. I had to make that section of fencing solid again, no more escapes after that.

Cant say ive had this problem. Maybe its terrain? Check the escspe point heat map and cover it with a rock i guess

Red Pandas love to try and escape. Some fences can be climbed, such as wood fences. Also they can climb up frames and onto other things.

Jumping through glass is another thing (although it could be the fence is not high enough he just jumped over it and it looked glitchy) I did have a bug once where there was a gap between two panels but fixed it by pausing and replace the panels. So that could be it.

Yeah, I'd try making the glass a bit taller and see if that helps. It could be a jump that's not lining up the animations properly.

Red panda glitch through wall when there is a climable object on the other side of that wall. I put wooden logs (in build menu not climable menu) and even though they wasn't on the inside of the fence. The panda's would attached themself's to that object and glitch through.

So basically delete some of your scenery :(

There is an option to make a climb barrier on the fencing menu

I once used a wood wall as an interior partition, the bloody red panda climbed over and started hanging out with the Flamingos before making a run for the food stalls.

^^This :)

Make sure the railing part at the top is facing in - not outside the fence. But yah, I had primates running wild until I snapped that some primates could get through wooden fences. (this was in beta)

Still.. I think I enjoyed watching my guests get their jogging for the day done hehe
Its 10m tall of one way glass, with a glass roof on top, they jump through the bottom as if its only a metre high, the terrain is flat and not clipping, they have never done this and they were my first animals, so a good 10-15 hours of gameplay before starting.

Have you tried removing the offending area and rebuilding, that fixed it for me.

I'm amused at the thought of a bunch of people running scared of a little red panda leaping out of the enclosure.

Yep. Had the same issue with ostriches. It looks like there's some sort of bug where if the barrier condition ever got low enough for them to escape, it doesn't clear that flag even after the barrier has been repaired.

That's the thing though, the logs I placed wasn't anything to do with climbing. It was in a whole different section of the tabs. The building tab the log came from, the one you make houses and decorations.

So really it's impossible to tell what is or isn't climable

Is it worse I put down those printable signs with red letters:

"REMAIN CALM" "YOU ARE MORE" "SCARED THAN IT" and "PLEASE FEED" "HOT DOG SQUAD" "ONLY"

Didn't weirdly help :D
