How do I connect a ride to a path?

I am trying to build that monorail into my zoo and I am probably missing something really obvious but I am unable to connect any kind of path to that ride. Any tipps on what I am missing?

I placed the ride, finished the rails and decided where the entrance and exit should be but after that I am stuck.

I also made a monorail just to try it. If nothing is changed about how they work, I dont see myself ever making one again. They are kinda useless with only one car going around. Please tell me if you figure our how to add more cars :)

There is an option to add more cars yes in the last tab

OMG who the hell thinks that this is an intuetive thing that needs no mentioning in the help file?

For anyone needing help as well.

1. In the first tab click on Station closed.
2. Than you find a checklist that you actually need to click on and than move the mouse cursor onto the rail to build the entrances .....

Just another note ..... if you ever wonder how to set the price for a ticket you again have to click in the first tab and than all tabs get a different use ....

Dear Developer .-.... WTF ..... not all people have played Planet Coaster ..... so write a dman help file if you implement such a weird usablility ....
