You will need 100 conservation points to open a new one :).
Closing down the entire chain closes ALL your zoos, resets everything to the start. Consider it a complete wipe.
Closing down 1 zoo within a franchise will only close that one zoo, and will keep your CC balance as it is. Opening another zoo within that save will cost 100 CC for each additional.
Also, if a franchise zoo is closed, I assume it's no longer playable (i.e. can't be reopened down the road).
Thanks!
You can make a new one without closing the other if you want. You are allowed more than one...a lot more. Of course, if you don't want to keep the other one, feel free to close it. Just saying, you don't need to close it.
I have 12 so far and trade animals between them to keep the genes versatile.
Yeah, I've started a second franchise zoo. I have my original still open, as I'm still hoping Frontier releases another update that will fix whatever is making it inaccessible. I'm just unsure what happens to the animals that weren't in storage, but were in exhibits/habitats in my original zoo. Like, will every animal I've purchased just be moved to the animal storage of my new (open) zoo?
When you close a zoo, all animals are sold and the value of cc is added To the franchise cc.
It s the only thing that remain from your zoo.
All animals you can t sell for cc are lost
