Track Airlock Gate?
How do you construct your track to go through a habitat gate? I've tried building the track first, then building a gate/airlock through it, no luck. I then tried creating a gate first and then hoping the track edit would snap through the gate, but no.

I'm trying to complete the track in the career Zoo, but I built a Hippo habitat for it to go through, I just can't seem to figure out how to get it to actually go through.

Any tips?

First, place down the station. Then extend the rail/track forward only by 1 piece. Build 2 squares out of habitat fence, I guess 20*20m is ok. Build one towards the direction of the track, leaving some space so you can connect the track later on to both airlocks. Build the other square thingie behind the station also leaving some space. Place 2 airlock doors on both of the square places, 2 in each. Now you can build the track (and the habitat around it.

I hope it helps even with my broken English. If it doesnt I will post a screenshot.

Hooray! The track actually does snap to the airlock gate. However, for this to work, the end of your track needs to be further away from the gate (than it was in what I was attempting, where I built it all right next to eachother). Fixed!

Glad it worked.

Post a screenshot please
In my case, the difference was made by turning off "Auto-tunnel".
I had already built the track. Then I removed a large portion. Then I built a single gate, clicking on Z to make sure it was perpendicular to the future track. Then I completed the barrier, connecting it to the gate. Lastly, I edited the track, clicking on the 'snap' button so it went straight to the gate. On the other side, I had to remove one more section, then I started building from the gate towards the remaining track, also using the 'snap' button. That completed the work.
