My animals never like their plants even though I get the right biomes and continets etc?
So in the first tutorial Im trying to get these peacocks happy and they say they like, grassland, temperate and tropical plants from asia, but every single plants reduces the meter by a lot. What am I doing wrong?

Do you have a picture of it? It's hard to tell from just that description, my first guess would be that you're using decorative plants or are OVER covering your facility which can also upset them. Some animals like a single tree, some like a forest.

No coverage is in the low. so wierd. Same with my warthogs, I select africa as a filter, I put the plant in and get an ! saying the plant isnt from the same enviroment as the animal. The game could do a better job at explaining this :/ Like, the plant is from africa, the animal is from africa etc.

Try removing all plants and then putting in a Baobab Tree. It's an african grassland plant, if it reacts negatively to that it's definitely bugged.

Edit : it's possible as well that perhaps your plants are removing too much space from the animal's land requirement, which would be unlikely unless you're making small enclosures.
