Water Cleanliness & Animal Poop
So I have hippos - and my hippo pens is always dirty.
Now I've noticed that Keepers go in and clean up the poop, but the cleanliness doesn't change much.

While looking at the pen, I noticed hippo poop rolled down into the water, and was collecting at the bottom of the swimming area, and of course the cleaners don't go into the water to clean.

Now, the pen in question has a water treatment plant, which is powered and working.
Should the water treatment plant essentially be removing this poop? Or is it more a generic cleaning the water so it doesn't need to be refilled etc like with a water station in another sort of habitat?

From reading other posts, having animal poop collect in areas that are inaccessible to Keepers seems to be an issue.

I haven't noticed the poop in the water but I am still having the same problem in pins that I didn't put a built in water source. My pins keep alerting me to 50% or less cleanliness and my animals are getting sick. I keep asking for a keeper and they walk in, look around and walk out with no changes to the pin. Really could use some help here.

Poo and etc getting into the water is an issue I hope they resolve for sure.

try building a water filter thing near the habitat with water in it? (I'm just guessing as I have yet to notice this.)

Mine was disappearing pretty quick and causing slight pollution in beta. It's possible that this is the same process now, only over a longer period. Keep an eye on it. If you get desperate, delete the water until your keepers can clean, then replace it.

You may need to make sure the slope to the bottom is shallow enough that the keepers can navigate it.

i was having this same problem with my saltwater crocodile habitat, and i can't edit the terrain at all since it's a career scenario

Have all of you made sure you created a 'Work Zone' for the keeper(s), linked the habitat to said work zone, and then assigned it to your keeper(s)?

This is an issue for me with my tapirs. I can't see any poo in their pond, even if I remove the water. If I call keepers they walk in and walk out again. Is t a bug?

The ruffed lemurs are having this problem. I can’t increase their welfare because of it.

I've just had this happen in both the 2nd and 3rd tutorial. In the second it was the red lemurs, it said the habitat was only 50% clean, a keeper walks in cleans a bit and then leves, but still only 50% clean. The water was covered by a working filter, so.... Yet Another Bug (TM)?

Well that was bizarre - Animal market started flashing like a maniac, nothing was responding and I thought the whole game would crash, but after a minute or so it stopped and my tapir's stopped complaining, cleanliness back to 100%!
