Game played fine day 1, now crashes on start
Day 1, the game started up perfectly fine and I managed to play a bit, but now when i try to start up the game, it gives a white screen, then sometimes a black one, but then it crashes. Can anyone help me?

Try turning off Data Execution Prevention for the program.
My game crashes often in the menu. It doesn't let me click anything. It sometimes even crashes before it gets to the menu, at the point when you first see the globe you'll be able to place your character on. :/ If I get pass the menus, the game works fine.

Got also the same thing. Sometimes I play for 20/30 mins and BAM it crashes to the desktop
Sometimes even already in the menu the game crashes. At this moment its unplayable or me.

If someone has a good fix, would like to hear it.

Have tried everything from updating the drivers, stop using MSI afterburner and Geforce Xperience

Like I said, try adding the program to the Data Execution Prevention exclusion list.

Open the Control Panel then open System.

On the left side of the System window, click on Advanced System Settings.

The System Properties window should open and already be set to the Advanced tab. In the Performance area, click on Settings.

In the Performance Options window, click on the Data Execution Prevention tab.

With Turn on DEP for all programs except those that I select selected, click on the Add button near the bottom of the window.

Navigate to the executable for the program that we’d like to add as an exception.
In Performance Options, click on Apply. Now, Planet Zoo will run outside of DEP protection while all others will run within DEP protection.

Just tried that in windows 10 and it said it can't be added as it's a 64bit exe

Add C:\Windows\System32\dllhost.exe to the DEP first

Ugh... Windows you are a S.O.B I'd have guessed that worked as well, was the problem with most games CTD without errors. Have you tried compatability mode? Run as Admin etc?

Same issue here. Was perfectly fine on first day and now it froze in the menu. What the heck.

Tried that. Also reinstalled the game, verified the game files, and tried the game in Windows safe mode. The last one worked, but the game ran horrendously.

I know it sounds obvious, but have you made sure windows doesn't have any mandatory/optional updates? Seeing as you said you just updated your GPU driver this would cause conflicts with an out of date windows version.

Yep checked everything it ran fine yesterday, nothing has changed since then went to play and nothing
